{Sloppy, Half-hearted Service: God’s Not Interested In it!}

imageFriends if you are not yet excited about what God is doing,  I encourage you to get yourself into your prayer closet for some alone time. It’s time to refocus.

God created us to walk in the good works He predestined for us (Ephesians 2:10). We are to live our lives Fully Committed to Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). We are to be giving our best.

Sloppy Seconds

And I would dare to say, We have lacked in this area because we are too busy getting involved in things God didn’t call us to. We are too busy with everyone else, including Ministry, that we are giving half-hearted, sloppy servings to everything we do.

A woman who is exhausted and frustrated all the time because she is worn thin by all the demands in her life cannot possibly be giving her best.

What’s On The Agenda?

As we close out this year, I encourage you to really sit with God and with your agenda.

What’s on there because God has it on there…

and what is on there because man has put it on there?

Where Do I Start?

Start with your relationship with God. Have you been in prayer and in the word daily?

If not, then your priorities are off.

Then family. Have you been available for your family to love, nourish, and instruct in the ways of the Lord, or have your kids been tagging along for all the things you ‘have’ to do?

Check your priorities, they may be off.

Is your home taken care of? (Titus 2:4-5) “admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.”

Again, check your priorities, they may be off.

God doesn’t want our left-over, sloppy service. He wants us to give our best: to be fully committed to what’s in front of us.

Sloppy, Half-hearted Service: God’s Not Interested In it!

So, are you ready for change?

I know I am.

As a matter of fact, I’m already walking in it. How about you?
