31 Days {In Pursuit} Of Your Child’s Heart- Day 12

Day 12: Weekend Recap

(If you’re new to the blog and want to read all the posts in this series, click {here}.)

It’s the weekend and the last thing I want to do is take time away from your precious family. They need you. So let me just share a quick recap.

We’ve shared some deep stuff this week- like writing the vision, observing your child’s passions, asking for forgiveness, and understanding that parenting is one of the good works God created for you to walk in.  I even shared some tools for your journey. If you missed it, makes sure to go back and check out Sarah Mae and Sally Clarkson’s webinar, Discipleship & Discipline.

I won’t pretend these are things you can sort through in a day. So go ahead, take the weekend to marinate in these. See what God is asking of you. Although our parenting season might be the same, our journeys will look different. Be sure to take time to hear what God is saying specifically to you.

And if you’d like to share an encouraging thought, an idea, or a tool He’s given you- please, by all means, do share!

We’re on this journey together- {In Pursuit} of the hearts of the children God has blessed us with. Funny how sometimes a journey looks different from what we expected, eh? Less of buying or giving this and that. More of getting to the core of things that we might live a life overflowing.

So glad we’re journeying together!

Blessings, peace, and love-

– Darlene
