31 Days To Clean {Day 3: Giving Life To Your Home}

We’re living {Living Life Fully Committed}…

join us as we dive into our homes.

* * *

“Home, sweet, wonderful, amazing, peace-filled, home!”

My daughter looks at me, “Mom, why do you always say that when we come in the house?”

I give an extremely exaggerated sigh, “Oh sweetie, I just can’t help it. I am so thankful for the home God has given us. It is home, sweet, wonderful, amazing, peace-filled home!!” {yet another deep inhale and glorious sigh}.

Oh mom…”

I’ve been practicing this for over a year now. Entering into my home with thanksgiving and gratitude helps me to see the blessing in front of me. I say it loud. I say it enthusiastically. I say it sincerely.

And as time goes by, I’ve heard my kids enter the house before me and out of their lips come out the most beautiful words, “Home sweet, wonderful home!”

Yes. That’s what it’s about. Helping them see what’s in front of them all along. Giving life to your home.

It’s Day 3 of our 31 Days To Clean challenge.

I know you’re so busy mama. I know you’re exhausted and drained from so many demands on you day in and day out. You want your family to be able to enjoy your home, but the pile of dishes in the sink, the scattered toys and papers, and the pile of laundry in the corner shouts at you, “It’s impossible! You’ll never be able to do this!

I know your heart, because it was my heart too… before I knew there was a better way of doing things.

Won’t you join me as we go through Sarah Mae’s e-Book, 31 Days To Clean (it’s only $4.99!). She takes us through Spring cleaning (or anytime cleaning) in simple manageable steps. You won’t have to do it all at once. All it takes is one little step after another.

I’d love to have you…together, we can give life to our homes. Before you know it, you too will walk into your home and say, “Home, sweet, wonderful, amazing, peace-filled, home!”
