{Accountability Partners: May Challenge, Here We Go}

I am so blessed by all you beautiful ladies who joined me at the end of 2011 and then again in March and April on our journey towards health and fitness. I cannot stress how blessed I am by each and every one of you!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve sure learned so much about myself in these last two months alone. I used to think that my journey was about a number on the scale or how great I looked. Today, my view of this journey is so much different.

Although I understand that there is a ‘healthy’ weight for my height, I also understand that there is a heart issue behind all of this. I’ve learned enough over the past years on this weight battle to know that unless my heart is right, nothing else will matter.

I love that I have the freedom to ‘go there’. You know, that place where I you can look at yourself and be real. It’s that place where you don’t compete, you don’t compare, and you don’t covet someone else’s journey… why? because it really doesn’t matter. The only competition is the competition between me and the ‘best me’. It frees me. It frees me to search my soul. To change my perception. To check my ego. To check my reasons for being a certain weight.

And that’s what my {Accountability Partners} cause me to do! You guys are amazing and I look forward to continuing this journey with you in May!

You already know the deal:

  1. Pick a food you will give up. That’s right. Whatever has it’s hold on you…  Give it up just for the month of May.
  2. Exercise: 30-45 minutes at least 4 times a week.
  3. Dust off your weights.
  4. Clear off your treadmill (we know you’ve been using it as extra storage space!).
  5. Get your sneakers ready!!!

We are going into May with a plan…
